Favorite part : There were so many words that touched hearts and spoke about the state of dementia and how it changes the world for those not only affected but for the family, and caregivers but my favorite part of the poem is when the poet highlights that love still matters.

"every day is a new day for the caregiver

as the dementia person tries to make sense of a reality

that has no reality to those around them

love still matters and distraction helps

as they are confused about all thing

love still matters, but now in large doses

make it count, have no regrets.."
